4. As for breakfast in the Hilton lounge for Gold and Diamond members; as I mentioned last year, take it to your room and enjoy it on the lanai with your gorgeous view ( mine was 33rd floor facing the ocean this year).

Pros: lovely decor in rooms, good 'Hilton' feel to the property, decent sized bathrooms, big flatscreen, gorgeous beds and bedlinen, abundant towels, good daily housekeeping, easy walk to the main drag in Kalakaua Ave, and to beach, Food Pantry supermarket, Longs Drugstore, restaurants etc etc,'pink trolley' to Ala Moana shopping centre is directly out the front of the hotel.
