1. It is only two convenient blocks from the beachfront and it is right next door to Waikiki's own International Markets which has a wide variety of stalls offering clothing, food and fun.

6. My friends stayed at the Aston Beach Hotel which was a lot of fun to visit and included a free breakfast which might explain why none of their (smaller than Wave's) rooms had a microwave or coffee maker.
