1. We just got back from a four day vacation on the island of Oahu, stayed at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki and the experience in general was good.

2. We did not have the buffet but ordered from the menu (for Australians - order 1 serving of pancakes, waffles or eggs benedict as the serving sizes are very generous and you can top up with sides).

4. I passed out on comfortable bed and when I woke up my wife told me hotel general manager came by with complimentary drinks, fruit basket and box of chocolate with warm greeting.

7. Being refused the right to talk to the general manager for more than a week after being victim of robbery within one's room is something completely uncharted, but Hyatt Regency Waikiki did it.

8. But this was nothing compared to the robbery I got victim off in my room and the despicable hotel attitude, refusing to answer any of my request or to let me talk to the general manager.
