1. It is true that the inn is surrounded by apartments, but we didn't find this a problem at all (except for the noisy people, but that could happen in any hotel.

3. The second room was at the end of the garden under the tower, much newer and cleaner, with a nice little entrance hall--all very nice EXCEPT that the hot water didn't come on in the morning until 8;00 for some reason.
