1. The fitness room was well stocked with plenty of equipment that was all in working order with the exception of a few of the treadmill TVs.

3. Upon checking in during a conference, they only had unrenovated rooms left, which would have been an upset except that the staff handled it extremely well and quickly provided acceptable concessions.

5. In downtown Phoenix so unlikely to stay here except for business, conference or an event, but the amount and variety of contemporary art in the public spaces sets it apart.

8. The light rail line takes you absolutely nowhere worth going, except to the Phoenix Art Museum and the Heard Museum, both of which I would recommend highly.

9. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and we should have slept in bliss, except, and unfortunately, the early morning activities of our neighbors woke us up both days--showers, doors slamming, etc.
