3. chose this hotel for an extended weekend on my own just to relax and enjoy some sun;and in strange earth colours - what makes them look 'old' form the beginning; an american breakfast is included and offers all the choices; that makes for a good start of the day and gives additional value to the (in my case) very affordable rates; close to the hotel is a huge mall - that offers plenty of shopping opportunities, once you have finished golfing (or want to escape the heat); a map from the hotel with directions would offer some help and could be helpful; although the hotel is supposed to be in Scottsdale, I felt more in the outskirts/residential area, so if you are not into golfing, you probably need a car to get around and into 'old Scottsdale';.

4. This is a huge modern hotel situated on a golf course and the rate must have been related to being 'off season'.

5. This hotel was a perfect place for my husband and I to stay--great location, pleasant view, and all the extras we could ask for--modern, clean, and well-decorated comfortable rooms, huge made to order breakfast selections, and fun managers reception.

6. Phenomenal value for the money (we prepaid via the Internet several months in advance)--consistently pleasant service, beautiful setting, and a nice pool--the latter wasn`t huge, but was very nice and bigger than I had expected from the hotel`s web photos.
