1. I felt like the staff really cared about their guests and went above and beyond for them.

2. I ordered a hot dog for my son and we both took bites out of it - it was beyond hot - scolding- we both burnt our tongues, my son was crying and the hotdog was gross so I complained and told the attendant at the snack shack to be careful with other guests eating the dog is was too hot.

3. Every one of the negatives I have mentioned could be solved easily and quickly by a hotel management that cares.

4. In a hotel with 900+ rooms there should be a proper maintenance schedule to take care of vent cleaning on a regular basis - apparently the Marriott Desert Ridge lacks such a maintenance problem.

6. I don't care for the very thick carpet in the hallways, while it is quiet it is very hard to roll your suitcase.
