1. plenty of people around at 8pm-ish and felt safe walking from the train station back to the hotel.

4. The not so good:- The Hotel advertised that it was recently redone, but we (and others) noticed mildew in the bathroom (we took photos, but there are plenty of mold-pictures on this site, already).

5. That said Bistro Bis (literally around the corner) is a superb french restaurant and China Town is only two stops on the metro or about 15-20 minutes walk and there is plenty to choose from there.
