1. A special mention of Eric the Concierge who helped us sort our our Hertz car rental reservation (Hertz were a nightmare to deal with and we ended up cancelling the booking - and Eric recommended Enterprise Car Rentals).

2. And since driving in DC is a nightmare, I also wanted a hotel that we could easily reach by subway from Reagan Airport so we wouldn't need a car.
