1. Yes, they lack a gift shop, but who really buys anything in them anyway? The lobby is staid, never lively, but there's a stateliness to the entrance that's unforgettable.

4. My wife and I both agreed that this hotel is a true gem and we enjoyed the fact that there was such a caring in service which is often lacking in large convention hotels.
