1. Although we only had one meal at the hotel, we found the food to be excellent, which is a difficult compliment to get from me as my husband and I are big foodies who feel few restaurants can outdo our own cooking.

3. I often had a difficult time locating the valet or other staff members and when I went to the front desk the staff seemed annoyed that I was asking them instead of the valet/doorman/bellman.

5. If you want to go up on the roof to enjoy the bird`s eye view of the White House and Lafayette Park you must ask the hotel staff to get clearance from the White House for security reasons (not such a difficult thing to do per the hotel staff).
