Window are old school single pane windows with storms, so they are a little drafty and let a decent amount of traffic
noise
in.

I understand the hotel also 'moonlights' as additional housing for the University students, but cannot say they created a
noise
issue at all, on quite the contrary, it was nice to see them utilizing the lobby for their studies.

My only complaint would be the air/heating unit which did make a bit of
noise
; it was also difficult at times to keep the room at a constant temperature.

The room (111) seemed to attract
noise
s from the corridor - the many hallway and stairwell doors are particularly noisy when closed.
