1. Still the free breakfast in the morning and great location easily makes up for this and at under $200/night it's hard to find anything comparable in Santa Barbara.

4. The elevator is old and hard to get in and out of with luggage due to the old gate still in place, so I'd recommend a lower floor and using the stairs.

9. we were not informed beforehand of the problem so we could have transferred to another hotel earlier in the night, since i had 2 toddlers, it was really hard putting them to sleep in the heat.
