1. No wine was served until we had almost all finished our meals and, although repeatedly asked by my sister to keep the wine flowing throughout the lunch, hardly anyone got more than one glass.

When the waiter showed up to take our order, I ordered oatmeal for our son and he told me that he had overheard me asking and had already placed the order, along with a fruit plate, and that it would all be out in less than one minute because he knew that it was hard for a small child to sit for long.
