1. One problem here (at least in our room) was road noise from cars, large trucks, and motorcycles late at night on Murphy Canyon Road.

Upon entering the front desk girl greeted us and she literally took care of all of needs: she offered a room away from the freeway so there would be minimal noise, offered us two beds, told us the opening and closing times of their brand new restaurant, gave us a map of the san diego zoo, told us about their pool and spa, let us know exactly where our room was.
