There were also grocery stores, Target and other stores, restaurants, etc just a block or so away (also nearby is a strip club but I never felt unsafe or heard any
noise
).

There was a little bit of road
noise
in the room, but again, it didn't prevent us from sleeping.

Staff was helpful to change our original room due to severe
noise
from the A/C fan right outside the window (I would recommend staying towards the back of the property.

Being so close to the highways, I thought there may be a problem with
noise

So I guess (almost) all the windows and exit doors are doing their job fine in blocking the
noise
from outside.

One more thing; if you can't tolerate train
noise
, ask for the front of the hotel.

Minuses:The rooms are all wrapped around a central atrium and the partition walls between the rooms are somewhat thin, thus creating a major
noise
problem.

is terrible all night long.
