1. Just a very short walk and you will be down the beach and you can walk to your cottage without any problems.

We were in room 11, and although we loved the room, it had two downsides with not being very far west:a) late at night we would occasionally hear loud/drunk people walking along the boardwalk; Being further west would have alleviated this problem by not only being further from the boardwalk, but also the wave crashes would have been louder further west, thus muffling boardwalk noise even more.

5. I imagine cottages further out on the pier aren`t as susceptible to this problem but there you do get more ocean noise, so it`s a trade-off.
