1. One problem was the directions from the airport on the website - not correct.

2. I have two complaints that I think are really more chain mandated problems and not individual property problems.
"Hampton Inn--ok but could be much better " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/23/2012 Vote
3. ' What I am amazed by is that this uninspired dump (the entire place needs a refresh; in addition to all the problems above it's clearly been quite some time since it was remodeled--or even repainted) is allowed to keep the Hampton name.

4. i booked a room for $59 a night for a friday night, up front i was told it was a twin bed ,i then called the hampton inn to ask if there was a chance of changing to a queen bed , they told me over the phone no problem just do it at check in, well when i arrived i told the young man at the counter , he told me no i could not have the room i was promised with a queen bed unless i wanted to pay for it ,they had already charged my credit card so i stayed in the small bed, i then called and asked for the code for the internet he kept telling me 4232 , it did not work after 5 calls to the desk he told me try 3242 and yes it worked we were leaving for ocracoke the next morning so i decided to grab a breakfast to go bag, the only problem was they did not have any , the room as small , the service was lousy not very hampton inn like ,but it happens.

5. I had never been to Raleigh before this multi-day trip, and turns out I chose a hotel about 20 miles away from where I needed to be, Ken looked up other Hamptons, changed all my reservations for me, gave me confirmation numbers to be sure I didn't have any problems (apparently someone else did with rate changes).
"Nice hotel, Excellent front desk service! (also called Raleigh Midtown) " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/23/2009 Vote
6. They made up for the fact that the hotel has a major humidity problem.
