1. We made a complaint afterwards to Hilton customer services who went some way to rectifying the situation with a certificate for a free night in any Homewood Suites.

2. The manager tried to tell us over and over that all of the things he heard us complain about were absolutely unheard of to them - they had never experienced any of these complaints and we had just been really unlucky.

6. Only minor complaints would be the housekeeping staff could be a bit more thorough (fold up the sleepersofa and put away the ironing board) and the outdoor pool was in need of a good cleaning (but heck, it was mid-September so I shouldn`t complain).

8. We are very picky about where we stay and seem to always have a complaint about a hotel but honestly we did not have any when it came to this hotel.
