3. Shilo Inn, Portland AirportDecent EnoughThe Good: Separate sink in dressing area (in addition to a sink in the bathroom)Great water pressure in the shower, good showerhead Lighted magnifying makeup mirror in dressing areaOne hairdryer in bathroom, a second hairdryer in dressing areaFree, workable wi-fiA decent restaurant on sitePool and spa open 24 hours24-hour airport shuttle The Bad: Bed w-a-y too firmHeavy use as a conference center can make it hard to find a parking space convenient for guests, who need to identify themselves with a dashboard placardBalky toilet required multiple flushingsDesk but no chairMini-kitchen (refrigerator, microwave, sink) but neither a plate nor a utensil in sightThe Weird: in the BATHROOM? in the bathroom? INSIDE the shower? in the restaurant lounge?.

4. Our only complaint was that the beds were something out of Bedrock, hard as stone, but we were very pleasantly surprised this last visit when we found out that they had just changed out all the beds for new ones.
