The air-conditioner is
noisy

One more thing that surprised the heck out of me for green-loving Portland: a
noisy
polluting leaf blower being used by the gardener right outside my window at around 11 am.

So, in summer, you have a choice of a
noisy
AC unit or open the windows and take your chances.

Only a couple minor issues - the heating is
noisy
, my co-workers said they could clearly hear their neighbors, and the wake up call I requested never came.

We like everything about this hotel except for the
noisy
air conditioner/heater units, the
noisy
exhaust in the bathroom, and the sounds we hear when neighbors run water.

We found this hotel first on TripAdvisor and booked directly with the hotel for the best rate, choosing a Premium King Suite so we would have a patio with table and chairs, which faced the street but was not
noisy
.

Had a first floor 'patio' with table and chairs - faced the street (which we disagree with some reviews- it was not
noisy
at all, even with the street car right outside - very adequate sound proofing).
