2. One downside is that the hotel doesn't carry the NY Times, not even in the Starbucks in the lobby (the nearest place is another Starbucks, down the road a bit).

4. downside: we needed to do laundry (since we had assumed we were going home) so had to go across the street to the Courtyard to do it.

5. The only downside was they were still finishing up some of the renovations and although it was not obtrusive, you knew the workers were there.
