THe suite was big enough for us and the boy slept on the sofa bed; theres is a full kitchen which In took full advantage since my family cooked for us I brought the food back, eating out wasn't that
expensive
and they have a full breakfast, but get there early so you don't have to waite 20 minutes to make waffles.

This is a very popular weekend for travelers to come to Nola, so it was quite
expensive
to get the room.

Within blocks of several great restaurants: Emerils (
expensive
but excellent), Butcher (quick sandwiches loaded with meat), and a must-visit: Mulate's, a reasonably priced Cajun restaurant, very large, live music, famous for good reasons.

The location was very convenient to the convention center - actually much closer than the hotels promoted for the event that were much more
expensive
.
