Mid week stay in in the 'noisy room' which was not too bad as the bar was only opened for one of the nights for what seemed a private party - noise that night could be heard but not too bad if you go out yourself plus note Arlin the Courbet still honoured our $50 bar tab which was good as hotel bar not available.

2. Later that night, about 1am, after returning from partying in the French Quarter, we discovered why they call it the 'We Will Rock You' room - the noisy bar below was indeed noisy.

4. A few other small issues included leaks from the ac units on the 4th floor producing a musty smell, noisy hallways, extended waits for valet, and overall room quality and condition that puts this hotel, aside from its gorgeous design, clearly in a two and a half star category.

9. The only slightly downside (could be an upside depending on your taste) was the beautiful and usually quite bar, is filled with local and visiting musicians on Friday nights and attracts large crowds of noisy locals.
