There are better hotels to stay in downtown Nashville and I would advise you to

We were greeted and checked in promptly by Tommy, who not only hooked us up with a beautiful room, but also gave us great advice on things to do/see/eat/
avoid
and a bunch of laughs.

avoid
the street noise.

If I were to vacation here again, I would stay at the Marriott next to bicentennial park and pay to drive my car downtown
