1. We had hoped to stay near or in downtown because we made reservations for a great restaurant near downtown (see my review for Germantown Cafe-- or just go, you won't be disappointed).

2. As a choice privileges member I have stayed in many comfort inns/Sleep Inns all over the country, and I'm rarely disappointed in these hotels, but the sleep Inn on Dickerson Pike in Nashville has the most helpful friendly staff I have ever seen in any hotel.
