1. Cabs are NOT easy to get in downtown Detroit and they are expensive (you can easily get a cab FROM the hotel to where ever you are going, hard to get a cab BACK, Detroit is not NY, Chicago or Las Vegas) So I would recommend this Hilton, as again, you can walk to Greektown, and it's right across the street from the Stadiums.

3. I am sure that is dictated by the downtown Detroit hotel market but I considered the $225 total I paid for one night (no free breakfast) expensive for what you get.

4. -Bedding: the flimsy bed sheet and lightweight polyester blanket (both similar to ones usually found in less expensive motels) were inadequate for winters in Detroit.
