1. The room on the surface appeared decent, but it's hard to overlook the following: sticky kitchenette floor; sticky and dusty bathroom floor; torn couch skirt (more like shredded, it looked as though the maids continuously catch it in their vacuum); a bathroom curtain which smelled like mildew; no tv in the second bedroom; no extra blankets or pillows; and towels with marker stains on them.

2. The rooms had obviously been updated recently - but we could hear our neighbors above & beside us, and we often smelled food from other rooms.

3. I honestly don't know where the person got the idea that this was once a hospital and still smelled like one.

4. Everything about this place is old, hospital ward old; smells old, smells medicinal.

5. The room itself, once you got into the room, away from the icky old elevators & horrible fragrance sprays trying to cover up the hospital smells, the room was just a room.

6. No fragrant sprays, can get the awful smells out or cover them up.

7. And no matter how hard they try to cover up the smells with periodic release of some kind of fragrant sprays, it still smells medicinal, like a hospital.

8. The hospital smells must have permeated the very fibers & walls of this place.
