1. What brought the rating down was some of the basics that should be address - the elevator area (including the floors) was dirty, there was a constant mildewy smell in the bathroom, the windows in the room looking out were dirty.

8. This hotel was dirty and old and more like a 2 star hotel, the room stunk of smoke so they moved me to a room that didnt have a remote control for the tv and the bed was not even made up so I moved back to the smokey smelly room.
