1. Again not a true complaint but I would suggest to get easy to access soap - no one want to work that hard to unwrap it.

2. It seems that while the property put a lot of money into a hard and soft remodel of the lobby and guest rooms, nothing was done to remodel the bathrooms, which had a late 80's appearance, and harsh fluorescent lights.

4. Our room was HUGE and had beautiful furnishings, comfortable bed, pillows, high-end bedding, great Bose radio, very clean, so quiet it was hard to believe there were others in the hotel.

5. We stayed in a Four Seasons in Austin after we left Dallas and as great as they were they had a hard time competing after our stay at The Mansion.

6. After a week of hard driving (from California by way of Colorado), I drove up the drive of the hotel to be greeted with warm welcome (I must say here that I was the very opposite of the Dallas type).

7. I also found it irritating that the shampoo was in glass bottles - the lid was hard to get off, I was a little disgusted at the thought of sharing a bottle which hundreds of other guests had used and I was afraid of dropping the bottle with slippery hands and having broken glass everywhere.

8. My wife and are extremely disappointed about the whole ordeal and my colleagues can hardly believe what I told them as they have stayed at the Mansion before.
