3. As soon as I walked in the small lobby area, I could smell a strong odor of a laundry dryer - not a bad smell - just not something you would think to smell in a hotel lobby.

4. The room controls were adequate and I could get the room at the right temperature, with a bit of noise, but not as bad as I found in some of the old heating and cooling systems in the hotels here in Charlotte.

10. So for the bad things I noticed - the door to the hallway had a gap all the way around the door - so at night when the room lights were out you could see a glow of light though the gap all the way around the door.
