2. I don't hear hallway noise, which seems to be a miracle in hotels these days, I like the location at the Johnson and Wales campus, is about a 3/4 mile walk into the downtown or 'uptown' of Charlotte, which I felt okay doing with my husband but would not do alone.

7. noise---a lot of noise outside of the room until around 1AM---drunken party soundsRoom service---very expensive (which I expected) for the quality---but a lot of the extras listed on the menu had to be requested after the meal was received (ex: fish and chips was sent without the advertised tartar sauce and coleslaw) Not acceptable in my view.
