1. The hotel as a nice, funky vibe, with many of the rooms overlooking a central space that has a restaurant with live music playing in the evening, a beautiful pool and sauna, and mini rock climbing.

3. The long story? This hotel used to be a Holiday Inn 'Holidome', which explains the metal-roofed courtyard containing a heated pool, whirlpool, and climbing rocks.
