1. The bad news, as it turns out, started before I arrived.

2. I rarely rate hotels with 2 dots, and have never rated a hotel 1 dot (once rated a restaurant 1 dot)--check my hundreds of reviews--but this place was bad from start to finish.

3. Please spare me any CUSTOMER SERVICE comments about how sad they are that I had a bad experience, if you are then refund me my money, otherwise just leave it alone.

4. Not bad for the money, but definitely not what a Doubletree should be in my book - and I also perfer to be at least a bit closer to restaurants etc.

6. The Front Desk and bartender (who I feel bad that I forgot their names) but they went above and beyond finding me a cell phone charger since my phone died.

Cons: Our room wasn't as clean as it could have been (some hair in the bathtub and used dental floss on the sink and a little mildew in the grout in the shower), smaller bathroom, no complimentary breakfast (the only hotel on our trip lacking this feature), but there is an on-site restaurant (but I didn't try it)Not as nice as it could have been, but not bad either.
