1. We have family in the Summerlin area, so we typically stay at the Suncoast -- far less expensive than the chains and much nicer.

4. If we had to do it again would probably stay on the strip for a couple of nights then go back to the Suncoast - mainly because the courtesy bus times do not fit in too well with having a meal and going to a show, taxis quite expensive (unless we were unlucky and picked a rip off merchant).
