1. The free breakfast buffet was good except that the restaurant did not have any space to walk around and was very cramped and the line for hot food got way too long.

2. Rather than being jovial I would say the chef is bemused at how comical the scene in front of him is; hordes of guests carefully navigating around the cramped room trying not to bump into each other, ready to pounce upon a table as soon as it looks as though someone is getting ready to leave.
