1. Overall it was decent for the price since everything else in San Fran is more expensive but if you are looking to have a comfortable stay you may want to spend a bit more $$$.

2. Never been a fan of the Ramada but hotels in San Fran are expensive and this one suited our budget ($120 a night)The location was not great - especially since we did not have a car with us on the trip.
