1. The only cons would be the shower and some noise from the cable cars.

2. It was a corner room upstairs (I'd reccomend upstairs and a corner room as we found it had better windows and no upstairs noise- by walking around I could tell the downstairs people would be able to hear me walking around- though the noise from the other units was minor).

3. The heater noise is so loud you can not sleep with it on.

4. The walls are pretty thin, so be prepared for some traffic noise during the night, especially when the fire trucks depart from the fire department right around the corner.

9. There was some traffic noise early in the morning, around 6am, but SF rush hour, as with much of CA is earlier than the UK, and you are just a stones throw from 101.
