3. :) The 'Zen Den' room with a double bed was the perfect size for my friend and I sharing a bed; we didn't find the size of the room to be an issue at all.

4. The room was maintained in an adequate manner each day - the mirror on the bathroom door was not cleaned and my towel was not replaced - very minor things, and not issues, but something to keep the rating away from excellent.

The staff were friendly but not overly helpful, we had an issue with our booking that wasn't handled well by the hotel team - our booking via Expedia didn't correspond with the booking they had received and as the hotel was full we were stuck with a small twin room on the third floor, rather than a king suite.

6. Wasn't too much of an issue, since most of the time was spent out of the hotel sightseeing, but for families perhaps a different hotel unless you know the room will be of a decent size.

7. The only tiny issue, if it is really an issue, our room was small compared to other hotel rooms, but it was nice and held everything we needed.

8. One small cleanliness issue: the air conditioner motor casing outside the window was covered in lots of bird poop making it unsightly to look out that window, but this was a minor issue.
