I've stayed at all types of NYC hotels -- from big, flashy and
expensive
to tiny, exquisite boutique hotels -- and Chambers, a boutique establishment, combines the best qualities in a great mid-town location.

expensive
hotels and then they charge you $15 - 20 for wifi, so I thought this was a nice touch.

Although breakfast was a little more
expensive
at the hotel, the mezzanine was a quiet and relaxing place to start our day.
