1. The only points of caution are: (i) because its a members' bar, it gets really busy (this can be a positive as it can add to the 'buzz' of the place; and, (ii) being in the centre of the Meatpacking District means that it is pretty noisy until very late (there seemed to be a never ending line of limos picking up from the Gansevoort across the way at about 2.

2. The location is great - near the station, easy to walk to times square, greenwich etc - it is noisy at night but then that's what you'd expect - we couldn't hear anyone else in the hotel only noise outside of taxi's and people drinking.

4. I would definately stay at the hotel again however, the noise was quite bad at times and as a result of 2 nights disturbed sleep (due to the walls being paper thin) , we got moved from a Playroom to a Playhouse which was FANTASTIC and less noisy.

7. To the detractors in other reviews: Yes, the Meatpacking is a noisy area and i imagine that if you are on the 5th floor immediately below the bar (6th) then you would get some noise from there too.

9. The only thing I dislike is the that the swimming pool is invaded by mums and noisy kids who are memebers and none residents of the hotel.
