The hotel has safety deposit boxes for your safe security of extra money and passports etc and never had a
problem
with getting your items for you no matter how busy they were (and quite often they were very very busy).

The manager asked the chaperone a question about the
problem
, and then as the chaperone attempted to answer the question, the manager held up her hand in the chaperone's face and said, "Not right now, I'm with a client.
"We were made to feel less important than other guests. "
