1. However this one had bland, depressing decor, unattractive furnishings, cramped bath with no counter or shelf, moldy odor in room, bad directions given by desk staff, no parking, room looking straight into a buildiing under construction.

2. The area is a bit depressing, and the hotel a bit dated, dark, and dingy - so if you're just visiting Seattle for the first time or don't make it back much - you might want a nicer place for better memories.
