1. CONS: not a luxury hotel/rooms on the smallish/basic side, not all have AC; A little far away from the downtown core (but very close to great bus lines), Neighborhood a bit on the funky side (we enjoyed it, but not everyone would); No free parking (its expensive); no free wifi (there is in Starbucks); no 'guest amenities' (no pool, no breakfast, etc - just fyi)SUMMARY: It has an 'upscale, hostel type vibe' and it feels a bit off the beaten path.

2. Parking was expensive but worth it to not have to leave our vehicle on the street overnight.
"Great Location " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/26/2012 Vote
3. Additionally, the price was far better than nearly all of the other choices in this relatively expensive city.
"Great place to stay " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/26/2011 Vote
4. To then continue to be 'nickel & dimed' for anything and everything beyond that, made for an expensive and humid (no A/C) experience.
"An extremely overpriced a la carte property " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/12/2011 Vote
5. Thankfully I found that I still carried a needle and thread and was able to avoid another pricy expense (a 24-hour market, half a block away would have been more than worth the walk).

6. Parking is expensive ($15 a day), but we found street parking down on 2nd and Republican (a couple blocks away), which is free from 6pm-9am, and cheap two hour metered parking is plentiful after that.
"Great Location, Nice Room, Spectacular Rooftop View" " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/28/2011 Vote
7. It's not too expensive and you can walk to the Space Needle.
"Great view from the top " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/8/2010 Vote
8. Hotels are expensive in Seattle, so the price and relative location of this hotel make it attractive.
"Solid value in fun neighborhood " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/2/2010 Vote
9. The only downsides were:1) Pricey parking - this appears to be typical of most inner-city Seattle hotels, but still can't say I was thrilled with the somewhat expensive daily parking rate2) Not all rooms have A/C - I paid extra money to 'upgrade' to a room with an air conditioner (which was somewhat noisy, but kept the room cool).
"Very good location " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/19/2009 Vote
10. If you can't stand heat, be sure and ask about their Air Conditioned rooms (which are a little more expensive).
"Great Hotel at a Great Price " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/10/2008 Vote
