At check-out, the front desk clerk gave us great directions to the airport
avoid
ing the parade route, which contradicted the bellman's directions from the previous night which actually crossed the parade route.

There are many restaurants nearby although I would

Anthony's and make my way up to Western and eat at Ettas.

Only negatives would be the doors are very loud when shut, try to
avoid
being next to the maintainence/houskeeping closets as the doors are loud when shut and you likely won`t notice this problem.

A good location as we could walk to many tourist attractions such as Pike Place, Space Needle, Pioneer Square or use the free bus along the front and the lifts to
avoid
the steep slope inland.

avoid
a certain amount of noise then, but the soundproofing is quite poor.
