1. Parking was on-site and very expensive so park on the street if you can, there seemed to be meters, so that a mistake of mine.

2. You can risk it by giving them your credit card number and hoping your plans don't change, or you can sign up for Hilton Honors points and stay at a chain where corporate oversight prevents managers from failing to admit their mistakes.

3. Boutique hotels like this can be hit or miss, many not having the large corporate wherewithal to accomodate mistakes that they make by doing the right thing.
