4. The streets at night were so packed with crowds of drunken college undergrads and the noise was so deafening that I kind of felt bad for the folks staying at 'Frat Row.

5. And yes, the rates aren't particularly cheap and the staff aren't always that helpful (we had to interrogate them to find out the basics of breakfast times etc) but hey, this is Miami, and considering what you'd pay elsewhere, this isn't that bad a deal.

7. I just cannot believe some of the bad reviews I've seen for this hotel, are these people nuts? Pros: Great location, parking (so the entrance to the lot is tight, get a life.
