1. Resort needs lots of work to be a four star resort -- chipped, stained exterior, pealing wall paper, cracked tiles, furniture is worn, old, faded, stained.

Stayed here only one night until the rest of our party arrived the next day , so can't comment on too much :1) hotel is nice, clean, nothing fancy2) beach is very nice3) staff seemed pleasant enough (didn't interact too much with our short stay)4) pool (s) are a joke - small and very worn (cracks all along perimeters of both main and baby pools)5) room was nice, clean, nothing fancyThe location is nice because Wailea is very nice.
