1. I've never reviewed a hotel before although I've stayed in many, but this incident really rankles with me particularly given the fact they couldn't even think outside the box and send a small gift to a kid that lost her money, admittedly due to our mistake.

2. Once we realised our mistake we left a couple of messages with house keeping, who finally informed us they had found it and would ship it back to our address in Manhatten.
