1. It was a handicapped room, and because of the way the shower was built, water does flow toward the carpet in the room, and I believe that does cause some moldy smell to build up.

2. I know some things can slip by, but really? Someone spits/spills something brown on a light colored wall and housekeeping doesn't notice?There was also a lot of black mold on the shower door liner and the grout in the shower itself (again, see photo) Yuck.

3. My main concern where housekeeping was concerned was what I'm hoping was coffee that somehow found its way on the wall near the bed and had dripped down the wall and hadn't been cleaned - and the mold in the shower.
